One Source Discovery ("OSD") provides digital forensic collection services, forensic examination, electronic discovery services and legal document services, as well as secure web review. This policy describes how data of various types shall be handled during our normal course of operation and how we shall handle privacy concerns or questions. General: OSD gathers certain voluntary data to maintain continuity and operational efficiency. OSD will not sell or trade this data to any entity outside of OSD employees or partners who are directly in performing services, without written consent of the owner of the data.
Customer Data: OSD provides several services involving customer data including: data storage, data processing and secure on-line repository. OSD makes every reasonable effort to secure customer data using physical security (secured offices, fireproof safes, etc.) and digital security (secure login, encrypted storage, etc.).
European Data Privacy: OSD receives data from several locations, including from countries that are part of the European Union (EU), as well as from Switzerland. As such, OSD is committed to collection, use, and retention of data coming from the EU and Switzerland in accordance with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. OSD has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement.
